Black-eyed Susan Original Pressing

Cheery and bright, this adorable native plant is often mistaken for a sunflower. It has much of the same symbolic associations, with less upkeep. I've paired it with a rich gold backing and antiqued gold frame to lean into those sun-praising motifs. Part of the "Not all Glitters is Gold" collection.

You will receive:

An herbarium of a black-eyed susan from my backyard on gold textured mountboard in a brushed gold wood frame, signed on the back.

Framed with UV blocking conservation clear glass and acrylic spacers meant to keep the flower from touching glass and to preserve coloration as much as possible. Framing hardware has been installed so the piece hangs on the diagonal, so it takes up more space than would seem from the dimensions.

A certificate of authenticity with care instructions.

Dimensions (Framed): 10"x10", meant to hang on the bias in a 14.1"x14.1" space

All flowers are sourced within 50 miles of Madison, WI and designed in my studio. Human-collected, designed, and made. No AI.
